Notes
No account is needed. The ECB usually publishes reference rates around 16:00 CET on TARGET working days. They are for information only, not transaction rates.
Rates are units of the named currency per 1 EUR. To convert from one non-EUR currency to another, divide the destination currency's EUR rate by the source currency's EUR rate. The latest table returns parallel arrays: entries at the same index belong together. Values are strings, preserving the precision shown by the ECB.
History covers the four calendar months shown on the currency page. Each day entry contains the day of the month followed by its rate; an entry with only a day has no published rate. Combine the day with its month heading to get the full date.
About these operations
Each operation is a request learned from European Central Bank's own web pages: API Anything replays it over plain HTTP and falls back to a browser when it must. Read them as JSON.
