Operations

OperationMethodLoginWritesStatus
getPublicMenu(restaurantId, locationId) -> name, address, hasMenu

Read the public restaurant identity and nested published menu from document JSON-LD. Use restaurant and location IDs from the same real public URL.

GET no no Live0 confirmations

Notes

Copy restaurantId and locationId together from the same public URL: https://order.chownow.com/order/<restaurantId>/locations/<locationId>. Arbitrary ID combinations and independent variation are unproved. No account is needed for the checked public menus.

This reads embedded schema.org Restaurant JSON-LD from the source document. It does not establish the fully hydrated ordering interface. Menu, section and item nesting is retained; item names can repeat in different sections. The source can omit descriptions or offers. An absent offer means no published price here, never zero. An offer's priceCurrency is the source's explicit currency code; checked US menus use USD and the Canadian menu uses CAD. These are published schema prices, not configured totals, taxes, stock, availability or orderability.

Large menus can exceed the runtime's 20,000-character cap. Always inspect truncated: when present, nested sections/items or descriptions may be shortened or missing. The checked Khanom menu is partial at that cap. Do not interpret the returned item count as a complete menu or omission as absence. This operation has no pagination or section selector.

About these operations

Each operation is a request learned from ChowNow's own web pages: API Anything replays it over plain HTTP and falls back to a browser when it must. Read them as JSON.
